A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH CPS
EXECUTIVE SEARCH TO CONDUCT AN EXECUTIVE SEARCH FOR THE
POSITION OF ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS
WHEREAS, unofficial proposals were received from three executive search
'~ firms to conduct a recruitment for the Assistant Public Works Director as required by
the City's Purchasing Ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the consulting firm of CPS Executive Search was selected to
conduct the recruitment; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Manager to conduct an extensive
recruitment to provide a strong and competitive pool of candidates.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF LYNWWOD, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, does hereby find, order, and
resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council approves the contract with CPS Executive
Search and the firm's fee in an amount of $16,750 plus out-of-pocket and travel
expenses for an amount not to exceed $25,000 to conduct a recruitment for the
Assistant Director of Public Works position.
Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its
adoption.
