A RESOLUTION APPROVING OF THE ALCOHOL PERMIT FOR SLIM'S TWO DAYS
FOR TIFFINFEST LOCATED AT THE CITY PARK OF TIFFIN, IOWA EFFECTIVE JULY 8
AND 9, 2011.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa will review and will determine the
granting of the Alcohol Permit requested by the TiffinFest Committee to be located at the City
Park of Tiffin, Iowa.
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the request and has'not discovered any reason to
deny the approval of the Alcohol Permit for Slim's two day one time only permit for TiffinFest.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council directs the City Clerk to submit for local
authority, approval of permit to the State of Iowa Alcoholic Beverages Division.
On the 8thth day of June 2011, of a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa.
Councilperson Chris Ball introduced Resolution 2011-27 and made a motion for
APPROVING OF THE ALCOHOL PERMIT FOR SLIM'S TWO DAYS FOR TIFFINFEST
LOCATED AT THE CITY PARK OF TIFFIN, IOWA EFFECTIVE JULY 8 AND 9, 2011.
Motion seconded by Council person Jim Bartels.
Ayes: Chris Ball, Jim Bartels, Mark Petersen, Travis Weipert.
Nays: None.
Absent: Mike Gericke.
WHEREUPON, with four votes for approval, Mayor Royce Phillips.declared that the
RESOLUTION 2011-27 APPROVING OF THE ALCOHOL PERMIT FOR SLIM'S FOR TWO
DAYS FOR TIFFINFEST LOCATED AT -THE CITY PARK OF TIFFIN, IOWA EFFECTIVE
JULY 8 AND 9; 2011, be adopted and signifies his approval of the same by affixing his
signature thereto.
Passed and approved on the 8th day of June, 2011.
