Board of Trustees Meeting April 8, 2010
Oriole / Gilmore Detention Basin Extension Project
MSD staff represented by Messrs: Theerman, Hayman, Hoelscher and Tyininski called
upon Ms. Leslie Metts from O.R. Colan and Associates, a licensed Real Estate broker
responsible for administering the District's property buyout programs to give a
presentation regarding the purchase of two properties located at 8515 and 8519 Robin
Street in St. Louis City needed for the Oriole / Gilmore Detention Basin She indicated
that the property at 8515 Robin has an appraised value of $75,000 and the parcel at 8519
Robin has an appraised value of $70,000 each parcel also qualifies for a subsidy of
$8,750 per property to cover rent and moving expenses ($5,250 Rent subsidy and
$3,500 moving) and both properties also qualify for an additional $5,350 for title work,
relocation assistance and closing costs (Title and closing $825 and Relocation $4,525).
These properties are needed for a storm water mitigation project.
Motion to introduce the purchase of 8515 Robin and 8519 Robin for the terms stated
above made by Mr. Goffstein and seconded by Mr. Visintainer.

There was no objection to the suspension of the rules
Motion to adopt or authorize the purchase of 8515 Robin and 8519 Robin for the terms
stated above made by Mr. Goffstein and seconded by Mr. Visintainer.
