SPECIAL MEETING
November 3, 2005
The Moab City Council held a Special Meeting on the above date at the
Council Chambers of Moab City Offices, located at 217 East Center
Street, Moab, Utah. Mayor David L. Sakrison called the Special
Meeting to order at 3:00 PM. In attendance were Councilmembers Kyle
Bailey, Keith Brewer, and Jeffrey Davis. Also in attendance were City
Manager Donna Metzler, City Recorder Rachel Ellison, Public Works
Director Brent Williams and Police Chief Mike Navarre. Four
members of the audience and media were present.
Councilmember Brewer moved to Approve the Swanny City Park
Bathrooms Project Contract in the amount of $122,722 to Guerrero
Construction. Councilmember Davis seconded the motion. The motion
carried 3-0 aye by a roll -call -vote.
Councilmember Stucki arrived at 3:02 PM.
Councilmember Bailey moved to Waive the Building Permit Fee for the
Swanny City Park Bathrooms in the amount of $796.17.
Councilmember Stucki seconded the motion. The motion carried 4-0
aye by a roll -call -vote.
Councilmember Bailey moved to approve Proposed Resolution #25-
2005 — A Resolution Adopting an Interlocal Agreement as to Forming a
Cooperative Drug Enforcement Task Force, by and between Moab City,
Utah and Grand County, Utah. Councilmember Brewer seconded the
motion. The motion carried 4-0 aye.
Councilmember Bailey moved to approve a Request for an Extension of
a Moved -on Structure Permit by Joplin Rutherford, d.b.a. Wicked Brew
to Conduct a Drive Through Espresso Business Located at 132 North
Main Street for the period of 90 days from November 3, 2005 to
February 1, 2006. Councilmember Davis seconded the motion. The
motion carried 4-0 aye.
Councilmember Stucki moved to adjourn. Councilmember Brewer
seconded the motion. The motion carried 4-0 aye.
Mayor Sakrison adjourned the Special Meeting at 3:10 PM.
