Town of Leesburg Encourages Residents to Participate in
Public Meetings Remotely
Residents may submit comments in advance of the meetings via email.
Leesburg, VA (March 20, 2020) – At the present time, meetings of the Leesburg Town Council,
Planning Commission, Board of Architectural Review (BAR), and Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA)
will be held as scheduled. If no action items or urgent discussion items are on the agenda, a
specific meeting may be cancelled. Public hearings that have been advertised will be held as
indicated in the published public notices.
Meetings are broadcast live on the Town’s local government access channels (Verizon FiOS 35
and Comcast Xfinity 67) and streamed on the Town website (www.leesburgva.gov/webcasts). In
order to meet social distancing protocols, the audience in the Council Chamber will be limited
to ten people. Members of the public are encouraged to join the meetings remotely.
Residents are reminded that they can submit comments on agenda items via email directly to
members of these bodies. Agendas are posted on the Town website a minimum of three
business days prior to the meetings. Links to agendas, group email addresses, and staff liaison
