SPECIAL MEETING
November 16, 2005
The Moab City Council held a Special Meeting on the above date at the
Council Chambers of Moab City Offices, located at 217 East Center
Street, Moab, Utah. Mayor Pro-tem Keith Brewer called the Special
Meeting to order at 5:33 PM. In attendance were Councilmembers Kyle
Bailey and Jeffrey Davis. Also in attendance were City Manager Donna
Metzler and City Recorder Rachel Ellison.
Under Canvassing of votes and final audit of the Moab City General
Election held on November 8, 2005 the Council and Mayor Pro-tem
reviewed the audited election results including the final tally including
absentee and provisional votes.
Councilmember Bailey moved to accept the final election results as:
Mayor
David Sakrison 646
Councilmembers
Kyle D. Bailey 568
Mark P. Bromley 209
Jeffrey Davis 488
Councilmember Davis seconded the motion. The motion carried 3-0
aye.
Councilmember Bailey moved to give Local Consent for a Restaurant
Liquor License for Myke Hughes, d.b.a. the Broken Oar Located at 53
West 400 North. Councilmember Davis seconded the motion. The
motion carried 3-0 aye.
Councilmember Bailey moved to approve a Class II Beer License for
Myke Hughes, d.b.a. the Broken Oar Located at 53 West 400 North.
Councilmember Davis seconded the motion. Councilmember Bailey
stated that this location has been approved for this type of license twice
previously and no problems have been noted. The motion carried 3-0
aye.
Councilmember Bailey moved to adjourn. Councilmember Davis
seconded the motion. The motion carried 3-0 aye.
