A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TEMPLE CITY ACKNOWLEDGING THE
RECEIPT OF NOTICES OF INTENTION TO CIR-
CULATE PETITIONS FOR THE ANNEXATION OF
TERRITORY DESIGNATED AS "ANNEXATIONS
#10, #11, .and #12, " RESPECTIVELY,
AND OF AFFIDAVITS OF PUBLICATION THEREOF
AND APPROVING THE CIRCULATION OF THE
RESPECTIVE PETITIONS.
WHEREAS, on October 19, 1965, there was filed with the City
Clerk of the City of Temple City a copy of four separate notices
of intention to circulate petitions relating to annexation of
certain territory to the City of Temple City, under the Annexation
Act of 1913, pertaining to territory designated respectively as
"Annexations #10, #11, and #12, " with affidavits of publication
of each of said notices in the Temple City Times; and
WHEREAS, the Annexation Act of 1913 provides that the legis-
lative body may adopt a resolution acknowledging receipt of the
notices and approving the circulation of the petitions;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL% D by the City Council of the City
of Temple City:
1. That the receipt of each of said notices, statements and
affidavits is hereby acknowledged, and that approval is hereby
given for the separate circulation of a petition for annexation of
territory designated as "Annexation #10, #11, and #12, " respec-
tively, twenty -one days after the publication of said respective
notice and statement.
2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 19th day of October ,
1965.
