TOWN OF LEESBURG

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VIRGINIA

AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH THE COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA
DEPARTMENT OF AVIATION FOR THE CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATION OF
A NON-DIRECTIONAL BEACON TRANSMITTER AT LEESBURG AIRPORT.
RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
SECTION I. The manager is authorized and directed to execute, on
behalf of the town, the facilities and equipment agreement transmitted with a
memorandum to the Mayor and Council dated April 28, 1982, which is the Virginia
Department of Aviation's offer of a non-directional beacon transmitter, all
associated equipment and cable; all materials for the construction of the trans-
mitter building; and all maintenance of the facility and equipment.
SECTION II. The Town Attorney is authorized to execute the sponsor
certificate which is a part of the agreement.
