Theater. Moved by Robert Franklin that we require the Theater to hook-up

Margee Bracken ptesented a very detailed report as to the personnel, etc. for
the new library and discussed with the Council different aspects of the project.

of the preliminary plat of Tamarack Oak subject to paying the platting fee of
$150.00 and a Park fee charge of $150.00.

for bids for Class 5 gravel, AC and MC mix and road oil, with the engineer
to put in the same amounts as last year, bids to be opened June 4, 1974 at

Moved by Arthur Theis to pass Resolution #74-9, Adjusting Sanitary Sewer Rates:
WHERAS City Ordinance No. 128 authorizes the City Council to adjust by
resolution the schedule of sewer rates and charges; and WEERAS a study has been
made of the cost of Providing sewer services, including a report from the
city engineer; and WHERAS rates now are required by federal regulation to
be uniform, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Medina City Council that
the following schedule of rates and charges for use and service of the
sanitary sewer system is hereby established: Section 1. Minimum charges #7 3.oc)
The minimum quartdtrly charge, per unit, whether/ the use of water is metered
or not, shall be - Section 2. Flatchargegvampluatxx Where the rate is not
based upon the metered use of water, the flat charge per quarter shall be
the average of all charges for a like category of property (residential,
commercial, etc) for the first quarter of the latest year for which records are
available. 3. Meter Flow charges. For all units where the rate is based
upon metered flow of water, the rate shall be $1.20 per 1,000. gallons.

Moved by Thomas Stevens to grant permission to the Medicine Bake Bus Co. to
negotiate to hook-up the water to lots 7 and 8 at their own expense and
pay the necessary unit charges to the City and also pay a minimum assessment
fee of 75 feet on sewer and water at the ants frontage rates that were
charged in the Medina Industrial Park. At the time the sewer and water
lines go in along the property and are assessed, the amount of the 75 feat
assessment willbe deducted from the whole.

Robery Franklin to pass Resolution 74-10 (same attached hereto), with the additional
condition #4, Developer will reimburse City $300.00 for legal fees in lieu of
platting fee.

report on her schooling and experience and answered questions.
Cynthia Flugum - Outlined her education and experience and presen4ed a
typed resume.
Charlotte Schreiner - Also gave an outline of education and experience and
said she preferred full time work.
Jeanne Johnson - Gave a detailed outline of education and experience, etc.
At this point the Council returned to the balance of the agenda fro* May 7.
