A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AWARDING
A CONTRACT TO PROVIDE COMPREHENSIVE FINANCIAL SERVICES TO
HINDELITER, DE LLAMAS, AND ASSOCIATES (HdL),.FOR AN AMOUNT NOT TO
EXCEED $28,350 FOR THE FIRST YEAR AND POSSIBLE TWO ANNUAL
EXTENSIONS, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN THE CONTRACT
WHEREAS, City of Lynwood staff has sent a Request for Proposals (RFP) for
Comprehensive Financial Services to five firms and published the RFP on the
Lynwood's website and in a local newspaper; and
WHEREAS, proposals were received from two firms, Hinderliter, de Llamas and
Associates and Katz Hollis, and were reviewed by City staff; and.
WHEREAS, the firm Hinderliter, de Llamas and Associates (HdL) has extensive
comprehensive financial services experience in the government sector and the ability to
offer a comprehensive package of financial services, and the proposal submitted by
HdL indicated a clear understanding of the City of Lynwood's objectives and needs; and
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
order, and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That a contract for comprehensive financial services be awarded to
Hinderliter, de Llamas and Associates; for an amount of $28,350 for the first year and
possible two annual extensions.
Section 2. That the Mayor is authorized to execute the said agreement.
Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its
adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of AUGUST 2006.
