A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING
A CONTRACT FOR ELECTRONIC DATA PROCESSING AND MAILING SERVICES
WITH INFOSEND, FOR A TERM NOT TO EXCEED THREE YEARS AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood recognizes that the residents of Lynwood have
a right to expect, and the City has an obligation to improve efficiently and cost
I~ effectively electronic data processing and mailing services; and
WHEREAS, staff evaluated that outsourcing these services is more cost
beneficial and economical than processing them in house; and
WHEREAS, on June 6, 2006, the City Council authorized staff to send out a
request for proposals (RFP) to procure such services; and
WHEREAS, a panel of staff reviewed proposal received and determined that the
contract should be awarded to Infosend;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
order, and resolve as follows: ~ -
Section 1. That a contract for electronic data processing and mailing services
be awarded to Infosend for a term not to exceed three years.
Section 2. That the Mayor is authorized to sign the contract.
Section 3. That this resolution shall become effective immediately upon its
adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 15~h day. of August 2006.
