A RESOLUTION OF THE LYNWOOD CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
APPROVING AMENDMENT NUMBER 3 TO THE EXISTING CONTRACT WITH
STEINBERG ARCHITECTS FOR CONTINUATION OF ARCHITECTURAL,
ENGINEERING AND CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION SERVICES FOR THE
LYNWOOD SENIOR CITIZEN CENTER BUILDING CONSTRUCTION PROJECT AT
ITS PROPOSED HOURLY RATE NOT TO EXCEED $135,000 IN TOTAL AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, Steinberg Architects was the origirial design firm for the Lynwood
Senior Citizen Center Building Construction Project; and
WHEREAS, Staff is requesting assistance from Steinberg Architects to respond
to the contractor's Request For Information (RFI) and Request For Clarification (RFC);
and
WHEREAS, Staff has requested from Steinberg Architects to provide Interior
Decoration Design for the Lynwood Senior Citizen Center; and
WHEREAS, Steinberg Architects will provide architectural and engineering
services based on its hourly rate for the duration of the project; and
WHEREAS, The service cost is not to exceed $135,000 in total.

NOW THEREFORE, the City Council does hereby find, proclaim, order and
resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council approve Amendment Number Three
(3) to the existing contract with Steinberg Architects for its architectural and engineering
services to assist staff during the construction of the Lynwood Senior Citizen Center
Building Construction Project.
Section 2. That the Mayor is authorized to execute Amendment
Number Three (3) to the existing contract with Steinberg Architects.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its
adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 5TH day of September, 2006.
