Leesburg’s Annual Toys for Tots Drive Underway
Toy drive for disadvantaged children will accept donations until December 17,
2010, at four drop-off locations at Town of Leesburg facilities
Leesburg, VA (December 3, 2010) – The Town of Leesburg is partnering once again this year
with the Marine Corps League of Loudoun County, Detachment #1205, to sponsor the annual
U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots campaign. Toys collected will go to the children of
families supported by the Loudoun County Holiday Coalition and other agencies serving less
fortunate families in the Loudoun and Western Fairfax area.
Toy donations will be accepted until Friday, December 17, 2010 at the following drop-off
locations at Town of Leesburg facilities:
• Town Hall, 25 West Market Street
• Leesburg Police Department, 65 Plaza Street NE
• Ida Lee Recreation Center, 60 Ida Lee Drive NW
• Leesburg Executive Airport, 1001 Sycolin Road SE
Donated toys should be new, unwrapped and appropriate for children ages 1-12. Monetary
donations may be given directly to the local branch of the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation by
visiting their website at http://loudoun-va.toysfortots.org/.
