HomeMy Public PortalAbout1982_12_08_R163 TOWN OF LEESBURG IN LOUDOUN COUNTY, VIRGINIA PRESENTED December 8, 1982 RESOLUTION NO. 82-163 ADOPTED December 8, 1982 A RESOLUTION: CONCERNING RELOCATION OF THE DOWNTOWN POSTAL SUBSTATION WHEREAS, the U. S. Postal Service asked the Leesburg Town Council to comment on the proposed relocation of the Downtown Substation; and WHEREAS, this Council finds the present location superior to any other in the downtown area; RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as fol- lows: The U. S. Postal Service is requested to investigate alternatives to relocation of the present downtown substation, including sale of the property subject to a leaseback of space for postal operations, and to provide an op- portunity for town review and for comment on the plans.
