RESOLUTION NO. 82-164 ADOPTED December 13, 1982
A RESOLUTION: AUTHORIZING THE MANAGER TO TAKE NECESSARY ACTION FOR COMPLETION
OF THE POTOMAC RIVER WATER PLANT
WHEREAS, the Potomac River Water Plant is more than 400 days beyond
scheduled completion;
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia
as follows:
SECTION I. The manager shall, upon the recommendation of the town's
special counsel and consulting engineers, take all necessary and appropriate
actions under the general conditions of the town's October 2, 1979 contract
with Mechanical Constructors, Inc. of Springfield, Virginia to complete con-
struction of the Potomac River Water Plant.
SECTION II. The manager shall enter into contracts, if such become
necessary, recommended by the consulting engineers for material and services
necessary to complete the work in accordance with the plans and specifications.
