RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER
WHEREAS, on April 18, 1996 the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret
approved a contract to Abbott Contracting Co. in the amount of $573,447.66; and
WHEREAS, the Borough Engineer has informed the Governing Body that a
modification of the contract is reasonable and necessary to pave additional area, and
replace windows; and
WHEREAS, the Engineer has further certified that said modifications were unforeseen
at the time the original contract was awarded;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the sum of $1,361.00 is hereby added
from the original contract and payment of the modified amount is hereby approved.
Adopted this 18th day of September, 1997
and certified as a true copy of the original
on September 19, 1997.
