Yard Waste Collection Extended
Plainfield, IL -- The Village is pleased to announce that yard waste collection has been extended as part of the Village’s
new contract with Waste Management. This year, the last day for yard waste collection will be December 7 for Monday
routes, December 9 for Wednesday routes, and December 10 for Thursday routes.
Yard waste including brush, grass clippings, and leaves must be packaged in brown Kraft bags or yard waste carts.
Uncontained leaves will not be collected.
Refuse collection will be delayed for those with Thursday collection due to Thanksgiving. Instead, refuse, recycling, and
yard waste will be picked up on Friday, November 27.
