A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AWARDING A CONTRACT TO BANNAOUN ENGINEERS-CONSTRUCTORS
IN THE AMOUNT OF $258,180.00 FOR THE WALNUT AVE. IMPROVEMENT
PROJECT, (BULLIS RD. TO HARRIS AVE.), PROJECT NUMBER OS-5249 and
OS-5299, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE
- AGREEMENT".
WHEREAS, the Walnut Ave. Street Improvement Project, Project No. 05-5249
and OS-5299 is scheduled for completion during the FY 2004-2005; and
WHEREAS, the Walnut Ave. Street Improvement Project is funded by AB 2928
and Lynwood City Council (L.U.A) Funds; and
WHEREAS, the bid opening was held on September 16, 2004 and Bannaoun
Engineers-Constructors was the appazent lowest bidder at $258,180.00; and
WHEREAS, a reference check has revealed that this contractor has the necessary
experience for this type of project.
NOW THEREFORE, the Lynwood City Council of the City of Lynwood does
hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the contract for the Walnut Ave. Street Improvement Project,
Project Number OS-5249 and OS-5299, be awazded to Bannaoun Engineers-Constructors,
~~ for its low bid of $258,180.00.
Section 2. That the President is hereby authorized to execute the agreement
between the Lynwood City Council and Bannaoun Engineers-Constructors.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 5th day of October 2004.
