A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF TEMPLE CITY DECLARING ITS IN-
TENTION TO CALL A SPECIAL ANNEX-
ATION ELECTION, AND FIXING A TIME
AND PLACE FOR PROTESTS BY PROPERTY
OWNERS.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Temple
City:
1. That it is the intention of the City Council of the
City of Temple City to call a special election to be held in
certain inhabited territory contiguous to said City, proposed
to be annexed thereto, for the purpose of submitting to the
qualified electors residing in said territory the question
whether or not said territory shall be annexed to the City of
Temple City.
Said territory is described as set forth in Exhibit
"A" attached hereto.
2. That said territory hereby is designated and identified
as "Annexation #10."
3. Notice hereby is given that on the 18th day of
January, 1966, at the hour of 7:30 P.M., in the Council Chamber
of the City Hall of the City of Temple City, any person owning
real property within said territcry so proposed to be annexed
and having any objection to the proposed annexation may appear
before said City Council and show cause why such territory
should not be annexed. Such protest must be in writing and
shall state the name or names of the owner or owners of the
property affected by such annexation and the location and
area of such property in general terms. If it be found that
protest is not made by public and private owners equal to one -
half of the value of the territory further proceedings shall
be taken in accordance with the law for the holding of such
special election.
4. That the City Clerk shall

DESCRIPTION OF REVISED BOUNDARIES OF PRO-
POSED "ANNEXATION NO. 10 - WEST TEMPLE
CITY - INHABITED" TO THE CITY OF TEMPLE
CITY AS MODIFIED BY THE LOCAL AGENCY FOR-
MATION COMMISSION
That parcel of land in the County of Los Angeles, State of California
included within the following described boundary:
Beginning at the intersection of the center line of Longden
Avenue (60 feet wide) as shown on map of Tract No, 5904 recorded in
Book 69, page 29 of Maps in the office of the County Recorder of said
County with the southerly continuation of a curve, concave to the east
and having a radius of 4050 feet, in the westerly line of Rosemead
Boulevard, said curve being the westerly line of the land described
as Parcel 1 in deed to the State of California recorded in Book 29691,
page 310 of Official Records in the office of said Recorder, said
intersection being also a point in the westerly boundary of the City
of Temple City as the same existed on July 1, 1965; thence westerly
along said center line to the center line of Muscatel Avenue (60 feet
wide)) as shown on map of Tract No. 5903 recorded in Book 67, page 59
of said Maps; thence continuing westerly along the center line of said
Longden Avenue (60 feet wide) as shown on said last mentioned map to
the northerly prolongation of the westerly line of Lot 31, said last
mentioned tract; thence southerly in a direct line to the southwesterly
corner of Lot I8 of said last mentioned tract; thence southerly in a
direct line to the northeasterly corner of the land described first
in Parcel 153 (EatonWash) in a Final Order of Condemnation had in Su-
perior Court Case No. 658762, a certified copy of which is recorded
in Book 53303, page 360 of said Official Records; thence southerly
along the easterly line of said last mentioned parcel of land to the
southeasterly corner of said last mentioned parcel of land; thence
southerly along the easterly line of the easement to said District
(Eaton Wash) as described in easement recorded in Book 16003, page 132
of said Official Records, to the northeasterly corner of the easement
to said District (Eaton Wash) as described in easement recorded in
Book 14112 page 86 of said Official Records; thence southerly along
the easterly line of said last mentioned easement to the most southerly
corner of said last mentioned easement; thence southerly along the
easterly line of the land described first in Parcel 152 (Eaton Wash)
in a Final Order of Condemnation had in Superior Court Case No. 658762,
a certified copy of which is recorded in Book 55461, page 44 of said
Official Records to the northerly line of Lot 9, Tract No. 29908 as
shown on map recorded in Book 735, pages 60 and 61 of said Maps; thence
westerly along the northerly line of said last mentioned lot to the
northwesterly corner of said last mentioned lot; thence southerly along
the westerly line of said last mentioned tract to the southwesterly
corner of Lot 4 of said last mentioned tract; thence easterly along the
southerly line of said last mentioned lot to the easterly line of the
land described first in parcel 152 (Eaton Wash) in a Final Order of
Condemnation had in Superior Court Case No. 65$762, a certified copy
of which is recorded in Book 55461, page 44 of said Official Records;
thence southerly along said last mentioned easterly line to the north-
erly line of Hermosa Drive (formerly Maple Avenue) (60 feet wide) as
shown on map of said Tract No, 5903; thence southeasterly in a direct
line to the northwesterly corner of the land described in deed recorded
in Book D1704, page 652 of said Official Records; thence westerly along
the southerly line of said Hermosa Drive to the Southwesterly line of
the 100 foot strip of land described in deed to said District (Eaton
Wash) recorded in Book 14139, page 2 of said Official Records; thence
southeasterly along the southwesterly line of said 100 foot strip of
land to an angle point in the boundary of the City of San Gabriel as
the same existed on said date; thence s;':.:theesterly, easterly and
southerly along said lest mentioned City boundary to an angle point
in said boundary of the City of Temple City, said angle point being
the intersection of said last mentioned center line with a line drawn
at right angles to the easterly line of Muscatel Avenue (60 feet wide)

as described in deed to the County of Los Angeles recorded in Book
1488, page 361 of said Official Records and that passes through the
intersection of said last mentioned easterly line and the westerly
line of the Eaton Wash as described in deed to said District recorded
in Book 7230, page 110 of Deeds in the office of said Recorder; thence
easterly along said last mentioned City Boundary and following the
same in all its various courses to the point of beginning.
