A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF ANNUAL CIGARETTE AND
TOBBACO PERMIT TO CASEYS GENERAL STORE # 2667, TIFFIN, JOHNSON
COUNTY, IOWA
WHEREAS: Casey's General Store #2667 has submitted application and required
payment to the City of Tiffin, the local jurisdiction as °required by Iowa Code, for the
2011-2012 cigarette permit renewal effective July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012,
AND WHEREAS: the said application appears to be in proper order and has been
signed by,an authorized individual representing the entity applying for permit and
required payment is accepted by City Clerk of Tiffin, Iowa,
AND WHEREAS, the authorized signing individual states that they hereby bind
themselves to a faithful observance of the laws governing the sale of cigarettes and
Aobacco products within the boundaries of Tiffin, Iowa,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Tiffin, Iowa, that the City
Council hereby authorizes the issuance of the ANNUAL CIGARETTE PERMIT TO
CASEYS GENERAL STORE # 2667.
On this 8th day of June 2011, at a regular meeting of Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Council person Travis Weipert introduced A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE
ISSUANCE OF ANNUAL CIGARETTE AND TOBBACO PERMIT TO CASEYS
GENERAL STORE # 2667 and made a motion for approval. The motion was seconded
by -Council person' Chris Ball.
AYES:Chris Ball Jim Bartels, Mark Petersen, Travis Weipert
NAYS:None
ABSENT: Mike Gericke

With four votes of approval,WHEREUPON, Mayor Phillips declared that Resolution
2011-23 be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature
thereto.
PASSED, AND APPROVED THIS 8T" DAY OF June 2011
