A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
APPROVING THE AGREEMENT FOR CONSULTING SERVICES BETWEEN THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD AND HP AUDIO & VIDEO PRODUCTIONS
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to enhance its communications by
increasing public relations outreach to the Latino media, increasing coverage of city
i projects and special events, and to create videotape programs of city events, services and
programs; and
WHEREAS, the Media Services Division informs the public about City services
and programs but requires assistance in public relations outreach to the Latino media to
meet the demand for the dissemination for information; and
WHEREAS, HP Audio & Video Productions headed by Lazaro Sanchez has the
expertise to provide the assistance needed in the Media Services Division relative to
public relations outreach to the Latino media, as well as video production services to
produce city generated cable programs.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE,
DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOW:
SECTION 1: That the City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor to execute an
Agreement for consulting services between the City of Lynwood and HP Audio & Video
Productions for public relations outreach to the Latino media and video production
services, in the amount not to exceed $30,000 (THIRTY THOUSAND DOLLARS).
SECTION 2: That this resolution shall take effect immediately upon its
adoption.

October 2004.
