RESOLUTION NO. 83-93 ADOPTED June 22, 1983
A RESOLUTION: AUTHORIZING THE MANAGER TO EXECUTE A PROMISSORY NOTE
WHEREAS, Council has authorized purchase of 3.2 acres from VEPCO as part of
the South Harrison Street Co~unity Development program; and
WHEREAS, the purchase will be funded from second and third program years; and
WHEREAS, the first installment of $180,000 will be paid on or about July 1,
1983:
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as fol-
lows:
The manager is authorized to execute a promissory note with Virginia Electric
and Power Company in the amount of $132,900.
