His latest project was the chairmanship of the Boise July 4th celebra- tion. Currently sales manager for the First Security Bank, BankAmericard Division of Idaho, he also is a member of the Bdi: Independent School District Board of Trustees. He is fund drive chairman for the First United Presbyterian Church, a member of the Ministerial Relations Committee of the Boise Presbytery, chairman of the Resource Priority Board, Idaho Survival, Plan, and a director of the Greater Boise Auditorium District. Lungren served as president of the Greater Boise Chamber of Com- merce in 1963 and has served seven years on the chamber board of directors. He was president of Music Week producing the first Broadway -type show. He was president of the Boise Jaycees and re- ceived the ' Idaho State Jaycee's "Distinguished Service Award" for 1954, a national Jaycee award for religious activities in the Boise club and a na- tional award for "Most Outstanding Project," the cross on Tablerock. Lungren was president of the Greater Boise Centennial Celebration in 1963. He served as president of the Garfield PTA, state chair- man of the Multiple Sclerosis Fund Drive, Valley County Chairman of the Red Cross Fund Drive, second vice president of the McCall Chamber of Commerce, president of the Foreign Exchange Stu- dent prdgram, McCall American Legion Commander, and elder, building chairman and fund drive chair- man of the Second Presbyterian Church in 1952. He was named Boise's Man of the Year in 1955.
