RESOLUTION NO: 83-110 ADOPTED July 27~ 1983
A RESOLUTION: ACCEPTING A TRACT SOUTH OF SOUTH CHURCH STREET AS PUBLIC RIGHT-
OF-WAY
WHEREAS, a parcel of land shown on a plat prepared by Bengtson, DeBell,
Elkin, & Titus dated May 17, 1983 was owned by VEPCO; and
WHEREAS, VEPCO has agreed to quit-claim their interest in this parcel to
the town; and
WHEREAS, provision of a public right-of-way will serve the public health,
safety and welfare and facilitate the relocation of McKimmey's Feed Service.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows:
SECTION I. The town accepts the tract described above and designates
the same as public right-of-way.
SECTION II. This acceptance in no way obligates the town to maintain this
parcel as a public street.
