A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING THE
DESIGNATION OF THE INTERSECTION OF
MALLISON AVENUE AND ALMA AVENUE AS A
MULTI-WAY STOP INTERSECTION
WHEREAS, staff received requests from local residents; the
Roosevelt School principal, and certain members of the City Council to designate
the intersection of Mallison Avenue and Alma Avenue as a multi-way stop
intersection; and
WHEREAS, staff reviewed the relevant information and found that
said designation was justifiable for special conditions; and
WHEREAS, the Traffic, Parking and Public Safety Commission
reviewed said relevant information and concurred with staff's recommendation to
designate said intersection as a multi-way intersection.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Lynwood as follows:
Section 1. That the intersection of Mallison Avenue and Alma-
Avenue be designated as a four-way stop intersection.
Section 2. That the City Traffic Engineer is authorized to erect the
necessary signs for said intersection.
~ Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its
j adoption.
