A RESOLUTION: REQUESTING TRANSFER OF ROUTES IN THE PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SYSTEM
OF STATE HIGHWAYS FROM THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS AND
TRANSPORTATION TO THE TOWN
WHEREAS, the January 1, 1984 annexation of 7.5 square miles of territory to
the town includes the primary and secondary system of state highways; and
WHEREAS, the town assumed responsibility for maintenance of certain routes
formerly in the primary and secondary system of state highways as a result of
annexation:
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows:
SECTION I. The Virginia Department of Highways and Transportation is re-
quested to transfer the following routes from the State Primary System of High-
ways to the Town of Leesburg in Virginia:

SECTION II. The Virginia Department of Highways and Transportation is re-
quested to transfer the following routes from the Secondary System of State High-
ways of Loudoun County to the Town of Leesburg in Virginia:

SECTION III. The manager shall make all necessary reports and requests to
