A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TEMPLE CITY, CALIFORNIA, ORDER-
ING THE CANVASS OF THE SPECIAL ELECTION
TO BE HELD ON TEE 22nd DAY OF MARCH,
1966, TO BE MADE BY THE CITY CLERK OF
THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY.
WHEREAS, a regular special election will be held and conducted
in the territory designated as Annexation #10, County of Los Ange-
les, State of California, on Tuesday, the 22nd day of March, 1966,
as required by law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of said City desires the canvass
of said election to be made by the City Clerk of said City;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE
CITY, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND
ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That pursuant to Section 22932.5 of the
Elections Code of the State of California, the canvass of the
regular special election to be held in the territory designated,
as Annexation #10, County of Los Angeles, State of California,
on Tuesday, the 22nd day of March, 1966, is hereby ordered to
be made by the City Clerk of the City of Temple City.
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk of said City shall, prior
to the 29th day of March, 1966, complete the canvass cf the
special election to be so held on the 22nd day of March, 1966,
and shall certify the results to this said City Council on the
29th day of March, 1966.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
passage and adoption of this Resolution; shall enter the same in
the book of original Resolutions of said City, and shall make a
minute of the passage and adoption thereof in the records of the
proceedings of the City Council of said City, in the minutes of
the meeting at which the same is passed and adopted.
SECTION 4. That this Resolution shall take effect
immediately.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of February, 1966.

I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
adopted by the City Council of the City of Temple City at a
regular meeting held on the 1st day of February, 1966, by the
following vote of the Council:
