A RESOLUTION: ESTABLISHING JUST coMPENsATION AUTHORIZING ACQUISITION OF AN
AVIGATION EASEMENT FOR LEESBURG AIRPORT'S OBSTRUCTION REMOVAL
PROJECT
RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
SECTION I. The manager, as required by Title 25, Chaper 6, Article 3 of
the Code of Virginia 1950, as amended, shall certify just compensation of $100
as determined from an appraisal and review appraisal for the property of Mrs.
Mary Jane Miller (record owner) and Richlynn Development, Inc. (contract
purchaser) as shown on a plat prepared by Ross and France, Ltd. dated November
17, 1983 to be acquired by the town for compliance with Part 77 Federal Aviation
Administration requirements.
SECTION II. The manager shall accept on behalf of the town the 9.2545
acre avigation easement, in a form approved by the town attorney, from land
owned by Mrs. Mary Jane Miller (record owner) and Richlynn Development, Inc.
(contract purchaser),as shown on a plat prepared by Ross and France, Ltd. dated
November 17, 1983, at a price not to exceed $100.
