A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING IN RELATION TO
THE ADOPTION OF THE EXXONMOBIL FRANCHISE ORDINANCE
WHEREAS, the franchise ordinance with ExxonMobil Oil Corporation has
expired; and
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood and ExxonMobil Oil Corporation desire to
implement a franchise ordinance that is current and equitable for both parties;
and
WHEREAS, a requirement for the introduction of the franchise ordinance
requires the City to hold a public hearing.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. .Notice is hereby given that on March 4, 2008 at the hour of
5:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 11330 Bullis Road, Lynwood,
California, is the date, hour and place fixed for the public hearing related to the
introduction of the ExxonMobil Franchise Ordinance.
SECTION 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its
adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 19th day of February, 2008.
