RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TEMPLE CITY, CALIFORNIA, MAKING
DETERMINATIONS AND CONFIRMING ASSESSMENT
IN MATTER OF VEHICLE PARKING DISTRICT NO.
3 OF SAID CITY
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 65 -148 of the City of Temple City,
California, adopted March 22, 1965, this City Council fixed and es-
tablished the boundaries of Vehicle Parking District No, 3 of said cit•_
declared that said district had been duly formed under the provisions
of the Vehicle Parking District Law of 1943 (Part 1 of fivision 18 of
the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California) and found
that the public interest and necessity require, and ordered, the ac-
quisition of certain real property for parking purposes, and the im-
provement of said property, all as more particularly described in said
ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the Superintendant of Streets of said city hereto-
fore filed with the City Clerk of said city an assessment of the cost
and expense of said acquisition and improvement; and
WHEREAS, said City Clerk has given notices of the filing of
said assessment and of the time and place set for the hearing on said
assessment and for the confirmation thereof as required by law, and
said Clerk has filed with this City Council affidavits setting forth
the time and manner of the publication and mailing of said notices;
and
WHEREAS, at the time and place stated in said notices a
hearing was duly held by this City Council, which hearing has been
duly continued from time to time, at which hearing said assessment was
duly presented and considered, and all written protests and objections
received, if any, were duly presented, read, heard and considered, and
all persons desiring to be heard thereon were heard, and all other
persons appearing at said hearing and desiring to be heard in the
matter of said assessment were heard, and a full, fair and complete
hearing has been had, and this City Council is fully informed in the
premises; and
WHEREAS, this City Council ordered and directed certain
modifications and corrections in the assessment as it considered just,
and said orders and determinations of this City Council have been com-
plied with; and
WHEREAS, all protests and objections, written and oral, if
any, made or filed in the matter of said assessment have been overrule(
and denied, except to the extent allowed by changes heretofore ordered
and this City Council is satisfied with the correctness of said asse:,s-
ment and the diagram attached thereto;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Temple City,
California, GOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows:
Section 1. That said hearing has been duly held and notice
thereof duly given as set forth in the recitals hereof.
Section 2. That all protests and objections, written and
oral, if any, made or filed in the matter of said assessment, have
been, and are hereby overruled and denied, except to the extent alieweL
by changes heretofore ordered, and this City Council is satisfied with
the correctness of said assessment and the diagram attached thereto.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED THIS 1st day of February,
1966.
