A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
ACCEPTING THE PUBLIC WORKS YARD DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS
PROJECT AS BEING COMPLETE; AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER TO
PROCESS THE RECORDATION OF THE NOTICE OF COMPLETION; AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO MAKE THE
NECESSARY FUNDS APPROPRIATION AND TRANSFER
WHEREAS, on May 15, 2007,. the City Council of the City of Lynwood
awarded the project contract to Elite Bobcat Services (EBS), Inc., in the amount
of $130,780; and
WHEREAS, The project started on November 12, 2007, and was
completed on December 11, 2007; and
WHEREAS, the project was funded by LUA bond funds and Water funds;
and
WHEREAS, the final construction cost is $157,692.69; and
WHEREAS, the final total project budget is $181,822.63: and
WHEREAS, a project budget amendment in the amount of $23,042.63 is
needed; and
WHEREAS, Staff conducted the final inspection on December 12, 2007
and found that all work is complete in accordance with the project plans and
specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Lynwood accepts the
Public Works Yard Drainage Improvement Project, Project No. 4011.67.920 as
complete in accordance with contract documents; and authorizes the City
Engineer to process the recordation of the Notice of Completion.
Section 2. The City Manager or designee is authorized to make the
following funds appropriation and transfer from:

$23,042.63 $23,042.63
Section 3. This resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its
adoption.
Section 4. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this
Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 4th day of March, 2008.
