AN RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
APPROVING THE RENEWAL OF THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD AND THE CITY OF INGLEWOOD TO PROVIDE PARKING
CITATION SERVICES AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE
AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has historically
maintained a contractual agreement with the City of Inglewood for Parking
Citation Management Services since 1990; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood carefully considered
all facets of the new agreement in which the City will benefit in enhancing its
parking administration program to improve efficiency and effectiveness; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has determined that
the necessity for maintaining a standing agreement with the City of Inglewood will
continue to allow the City to ascertain vital information which is compulsory for
administering sound municipal parking enforcement;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Lynwood City Council as
follows:
the Mayor to execute the agreement.
Section 1. The City Council approves the agreement between City of
Lynwood and the City of Inglewood for the continued usage of the City of
Inglewood's Citation Management and AutoPROCESS systems, and authorizes
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 1$t" day of March, 2008.
