APPROVING THE 1984 LEESBURG FARMERS' MARKET OPERATING REGULATIONS
WHEREAS, the Town of Leesburg is sponsoring a farmers' market to be
included in the South Harrison Street redevelopment project; and
WHEREAS, operating regulations for the market have been established
and have been incorporated into the producers application:
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia
as follows:
The farmers' market operating regulations are approved as stated on the
1984 producers application.

Please indicate the kinds of produce or other items you will bring to the market·
The Leesburg Farmers' Market is scheduled to begin operation on July 7, 1984.
The hours of operation will be from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday morning and
2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon.
TERMS OF AGREEMENT
This is a producers only market. All producers from .outside Loudoun County
must have their applications signed by their local County Extension Agents
verifying production of the products listed by the applicant.
You will be permitted to begin setting up 30 minutes before opening time.
Spaces will be 'reserved for regular participants until 30 minutes before
opening time. Those not occupied by that time may be occupied by any
registered producer.
Each producer must register with the designated market manager each selling
day.
5. Each producer is responsible for leaving his/her area clean on departure.

No producer will be permitted to sell at the market without a current
approved application agreement.
All items sold must comply with the Virginia Food laws.
The designated market manager will he the recognized authority during
market hours.
9. Shoes and shirt for producers are required dress at the market.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
A yearly application fee of $15.00 is required for processing your application
and advertisement of the market. The yearly application fee entitles you to
participate in the Leesburg Farmers' Market on all market days during the
current year.
Complete and sign this application. Include your registration fee and return
to Janet Shepherd, Town of Leesburg, P. O. Box 88, 15 W. Market St., Leesburg,
VA 22075.
Once approved a copy will be mailed to you and must be brought and displayed
each day for admission to the market.
AGREE ME NT
I have read the above Terms of Agreement. I understand that if I fail to abide
by the above rules and regulations, permission for me to participate in the
Leesburg Farmers' Market can and will be withdrawn. I understand that these
policies are subject to change by the Town of Leesburg and that I would be required
to abide by the changed rules in order to continue my participation in the market.
