A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL' OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AWARDING A CONSULTING SERVICES CONTRACT TO LUNDSTROM AND
ASSOCIATES, ARCHITECTS FOR DESIGN SERVICES TO DESIGN
REMODELING OF THE FORMER CITY JAIL CELLS AND FOR THE CITY
HALL NORTH RESTROOMS, PROJECT NUMBER 4011.67.948.62015, FOR
THE NOT-TO-EXCEED FETE OF $43_,300 AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
j ~ EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, the remodeling of the former City jail cells and the City Hall
North Restroom ADA Improvements, Project No. 4011.67.948.62015 is funded
by the Lynwood Utility Authority (LUA) Water/Enterprise Revenue Bonds (Fund
No. 53), General Fund and Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
Funds; and
WHEREAS, In November 2007, the City contacted three consultants that
were pre-approved to provide a proposal to design remodeling for the former jail
cells and. the City Hall North Restroom ADA Improvements; and
WHEREAS, the following proposals were received:

3 JUBANY ARCHITECT $116,377.00
WHEREAS, Lundstrom and Associates, Architects was selected to
perform the design for this project for anot-to-exceed fee of $43,300; and
WHEREAS, A reference check of previous performance reveals that this
consultant has the necessary experience for this type of project; and
WHEREAS, funds are available in the FY 2007-2008 budget for this
project.
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the contract to design remodeling for the former jail
cells and the City Hall North Restroom ADA Improvements, Project No.
4011.67.948.62015, be awarded to Lundstrom and Associates, Architects for a
not-to-exceed fee of $43,300.
Section 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the
r-~ agreement between the City Council of the City of Lynwood and Lundstrom &
Associates Architects, as approved to form by the City Attorney.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its
adoption.
Section 4. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this City
Council Resolution.
