A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
ACCEPTING THE CITY HALL ADA IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, PROJECT
NUMBER 4011.67.951.62015, (05-5301) AS BEING COMPLETE; AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER TO PROCESS THE RECORDATION OF
THE NOTICE OF COMPLETION
WHEREAS, On July 3, 2007, the City Council awarded a contract to
Integrity Painting Inc. in the amount of $244,555.00; and
WHEREAS, construction started on August 24, 2007 and was completed
on January 30, 2008; and
WHEREAS, the City Hall ADA improvement Project, Project Number
4011.67.951.62015 (05-5301), is funded by a Community Development. Block
Grant (CDBG) and the Lynwood Utility Authority (LUA) Water/Enterprise
Revenue Bonds (Fund No. 53); and
WHEREAS, the City Hall ADA Improvement Project was scheduled for
completion in fiscal year 2007-2008; and
WHEREAS, Staff has authorized Contract Change Order No. 1 to
complete the project in a timely manner as follows:

WHEREAS, the final total construction cost of the project is $264,317.01;
and
~~ WHEREAS, The Public Works Department conducted a final inspection on
February 4, 2008 and found that all work is complete in accordance with the
j project plans and specifications.
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Lynwood accepts the City
Hall ADA Improvement Project, Project Number 4011.67.951.62015 (05-5301) as
complete in accordance with the contract documents and .authorizes the City
Engineer to process the recordation of the Notice of Completion.
Section 2. This resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its
adoption.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this
resolution.
