ORDINANCE NO. I S-f-7C
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, VACATING AND
DISCONTINUING A 10-FOOT WIDE GENERAL UTILITY EASEMENT IN LOT 15 OF
WAKODA WOODS SECTION TWO.
WHEREAS, it has been shown to the Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, that the
owners of Lot 15 of Wakoda Woods Section Two in the City, have
petitioned the City Council to vacate a general utility easement; and
WHEREAS, it has further been shown that it would not inconvenience the public or the
citizens of the City to discontinue the general utility easement for public
use as described in Section 1 of this Ordinance; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, hereby declares it
necessary, reasonable, and proper to discontinue as a general utility easement the area
described in Lot 15 of Wakoda Woods Section Two and forever vacate the following
described general utility easement in said City:
See Exhibit A
Section 2. The statutory right of reversion in the owners of the abutting property
is hereby confirmed, as is provided by the laws of the State of Missouri, and the Mayor
and the Clerk of the City are hereby authorized to execute all necessary instruments
required to confirm the reversionary rights of the owners of property abutting on the
area vacated, as described in Section 1 of this ordinance, in the right of way vacated.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its
passage. /'

DESCRIPTION OF GENERAL UTILITY EASEMENT TO BE VACATED
All that part of a 10 foot wide general utility easement, dedicated per plat of Wakoda Woods Section
Two, recorded in Plat Book 12, page 193, Cole County Recorder's Office,which is parallel and adjacent
to the northerly lot line of Lot 15 of Wakoda Woods Section Two,:as per plat of record in Plat Book 12,
page 193, Cole County Recorder's Office, and being situated in U.S. Survey No. 2701; Township 44
North, Range 11 West, in the City of Jefferson, County of Cole, Missouri.
