AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING THE 2015-2016
BUDGET OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, BY APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL
FUNDS WITHIN THE PARK FUND.
WHEREAS, a recent diesel engine failure on a tool body maintenance truck was unanticipated
prior to scheduled replacement of the truck; and
WHEREAS, repair of similar engine vehicles in the past have also failed and render this vehicle
uneconomical to repair for reliable service; and
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Commission has created a Renewal/Replacement
Reserve within the Park Fund Balance to specifically address such unanticipated
vehicle failures and replacement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The 2015-16 budget is hereby amended by supplementally appropriating
$42,225.00 within the Park Fund as indicated on Exhibit A attached hereto.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its
passage and approval.
