RE: Undeliverable Mail
Dear Resident:
The City of Jefferson has attempted to locate and deliver important property
documents to persons at 1720 Giggins Creek Road for the past several years.
Property records located at the Cole County Tax Assessor's Office identify the
owner of the property as "Judy Kay Engelbrecht" (see enclosed printouts from
MidMoGIS. MO database. However, the address and property ownership is also
cross-referenced on other addresses, including 729 Mulberry 1322 W. Ashley
and 102 Short Street. All mail has been returned, not necessarily by the Post
Office, but by resident simply indicating "return to owner" or "wrong address."
Please be advised that the City will continue to send mail to the address listed at
the Cole County Assessor's database as that is legally the address which we
must use when sending information about the property. If that database is
incorrect, please call the Assessor's Office at 634-9131 and arrange to correct
that information. The City's files will continue to remain active, the transactions
will remain outstanding, and within the next few months. all such records will
become public information on the City's website, including all the refused and
returned mail, along with the property ownership records such as those enclosed.
