The Moab City Council and Grand County Council held a Joint
Meeting on the above date at the Grand County Council Chanbers,
located at 125 East Center, Moab, Utah. The Joint Meeting was called
to order at 2:00 PM. In attendance were City Councilmembers Kirstin
Peterson, Jeffrey Davis, Gregg Stucki and Kyle Bailey, County
Councilmembers Rex Tanner, Judy Carmichael, Jim Lewis, Joette
Langaniese, Nate Knight and Jerry McNeeley. Also in attendance were
Mayor David Sakrison, City Manager Donna J. Metzler, Deputy City
Recorder Danielle Axtell, Sheriff Jim Nyland, Community Development
Director David Olsen, City Planner Robert Hugie and Economic
Director Kenneth Davey.
Discussion ensued on the following topics:
Higher Education, Solid Waste, Corridor Study, Atlas, Annexation, and
the City Center Project .
The Joint Meeting Adjourned at 4:00 PM.
