Manager's Briefing, November 18, 1996
Busy night on Wednesday. We'll be honoring and recognizing Fraser's historical
association for all their work. In addition, we')) have a slide show of the historical grant
that a lot of people have been working hard on this year-- this will be a fun community
celebration. The referendum challenging Ordinance 225 will also be considered. The
Cemetery Association will have 5 minutes to presnet their reasons for repealing the
Ordinance and then Maryvale will have 5 minutes. The Board can then question both
parties. You have two options: you can either repeal the Ordinance or send it to election.
- Daryl Shrum has presented the long awaited annexation/disconnection materials for the
King Crossing Road straightening. We'll consider disconnecting three parcels and we'll
set an annexation hearing for two parcels. A map will be available Wednesday.
See you Wednesday night.
