RESOLUTION NO. 84-172 ADOPTED September 26, 1984
A RESOLUTION: MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR DESIGN SERVICES FOR THE SOUTH
HARRISON STREET NEIGHBORHOOD PARK
WHEREAS, the Town of Leesburg received a $1.35 million community develop-
ment block grant; and
WHEREAS, construction of a neighborhood park is an element of this
community development program; and
WHEREAS, the town issued a request for proposals on August 15, 1984; and
WHEREAS, three proposals were received; and
WHEREAS, Earth Design Associates submitted an outstanding proposal:
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows:
SECTION I. An appropriation is made from the South Harrison Street
Capital Project Fund, Year 3, unappropriated fund balance, to account number
9300.703, Park, in the amount of $8,000.
