AUTHORIZING MAYOR TO EXECUTE 1997/1998 UEZ CONTRACT
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret having been designated as an Urban Enterprise
Zone in 1995, enters into an annual contract with the State of New Jersey regarding an
annual budget for the program; and
WHEREAS, the FY1997/1998 UEZ budget was submitted in June 1997 and received
final approval in September 1997 by the New Jersey Urban Enterprise Zone Authority;
and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor of the Borough of Carteret
is authorized to execute said contract;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret
authorize the signatures of the Director of Community and Economic Development,
Patricia Holden and Chief Financial Officer, Patrick J. DeBlasio to execute any and all
documents related to the operation of said budget.
Adopted this 16® day of October, 1997 and certified as
a true copy of the original on October 17, 1997.
