RESOLUTION APPRDVING THE ~ OF A.B.C. LIC~I~SE
NO. 1201-44-007-004, F~Ln BY COOKE AVENUE LIQUORS, INC.

WHERF2%$, pursuant to an Act entitled, "An Act Concerning Alcoholic Bever-
ages'', as ~nended and also by certain rules and regulations adopted by the
Governing Body of the Borough of Carteret, applicatiOn has been rode by
COOKE AVENUE LIQUORS, INC., holder of A.B.C. License ~/1201-44-007-004, for
Renewal of said License for the 1996-1997 License Term and has filed the
proper forms and paid the necessary fees therefor; and
WHEREAS, the applicant, COOKE AVENUE LIQUORS, INC., had filed a "Request
for a Ruling Permitting the Issuance of a New License upon Failure to Tirrml
Renew Old License for 1996-1997 License Term" with the New Jersey Division
of Alcoholic Beverage Control and also had submitned a copy of said petition
with the Clerk of this Local Issuing Authority as required; and
WHEREAS, the New Jersey DiviSion of Alcoholic Beverage Control has issued
a "Special Ruling Permitting the Issuance of a New License upon Failure to
Timely Renew Old License (1996-1997 License Term), License Number 1201-44-
007-004 Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 33:1-12.18, Agency Docket No. 12-906-4006,
said License held by Cooke Avenue Liquors, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, the licensee has complied with requirements and.submitted a Tax
Clearance Certificate and an Affidavit of PubliCation as proof of notice
of application for new license, renewal and public hearing for same being
advertised in a newspaper circulated within the Borough of Carteret; and
WHEREAS, no objections have been mde as to the renewal of said license,
either orally or in writIng.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Mayor and Council
of the Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, that
a Plenary Retail Distribution License be issued to COOKE AV~IUE LIQUORS,
INC. holder of A.B.C. License f/120i-44-007-004, premises located at 66
Cooke Avenue, Carteret, New Jersey as herein set out below; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Municipal Clerk be and is hereby authorized
to issue a license to the applicant in accordance with the application
heretofore made and approved, having siad license become effective from
Tern Beginning July 1, 1996 and to Expire June 30, 1997;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that two (2) certified copies of this Resolution
be forwarded with original application and proper fee tO the State of New
Jersey, Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control, Licensing Bureau, (/q 087,
Trenton, New Jersey 08625-0087.
Adopted the 16th day of October, 1997 and
certified as a true copy of the original
on October 17, 1997.
