BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana; SECTION 1. That the following described territory, adjacent to the corporate boundaries of the City of Richmond, Indiana, be annexed to and hereby is declared to be a part of the said City of Richmond, Indiana; said territory being located in Wayne Township, Wayne County, State of Indiana, and being more particularly described as follows to wit: Beginning at the northwest corner of the Northwest Quarter of Section 17, Township 13, North, Range 1 West; thence south eighty-nine (89) degrees, forty-six (46) minutes and five (05) seconds east along the northerly line of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 17 and the present corporation line of said City of Richmond, to the east right-of-way line of Liberty Pike; thence southwestwardly along the said east right-of-way line of Liberty Pike to the intersection of said east right-of-way line with a point in the northwardly line of land owned by the City of Richmond; thence south sixty (60) degrees, four (04) minutes and fifty-two (52) seconds east along said City of Richmond tract, one hundred thirty and sixty-six hun- dredths (130.66) feet, more or less; thence south thirty- five (35) degrees, thirty (30) minutes and eighteen (18) seconds east two hundred forty-nine and five tenths (249.5) feet; thence south fifty-two (52) degrees, eighteen (18) minutes and forty-one (41) seconds west, five hundred seventy-six and sixteen hundredths (576.16) feet; thence north sixty-four (64) degrees, sixteen (16) minutes and thirty (30) seconds west, three hundred twenty-one and fifty-six hundredths (321.56) feet more or less to the east right-of-way line of said Liberty Pike; thence south- ernly along said east right-of-way line to the intersection of said east right-of-way line with a point in the extended southwardly line of land owned by the City of Richmond; thence south eighty-seven (87) degrees, thirty-five (35) minutes and ten (10) seconds west, along said City of Richmond tract extended, six hundred sixty-five and two tenths (665.2) feet, more or less; thence north six (06) degrees, twenty- four (24) minutes and fifty (50) seconds west, nine hundred ninety-seven and forty-three hundredths (997.43) feet; thence north three degrees, fifty-four (54) minutes and fifty (50) seconds, west, eight hundred sixty-four and forty-one hundredths (864.41) feet to the northerly line of the Northeast Quarter of Section 18, Township 13 North, Range 1 West, also being the present corporation line of said City of Richmond; thence south eighty-nine (89) degrees, forty-six (46) minutes and five (05) seconds east along said northerly line and the present corpora- tion line, seven hundred ninety-six and eighty-nine hun- dredths (796.89) feet to the point of beginning, containing forty-nine and ninety-six thousandths (49.096) acres, more or less; there being thirty and seven hundred and seventy- one thousandths (30.771) acres, more or less in the North- east Quarter of Section 18, Township 13, North, Range 1 West and eighteen and three hundred twenty-five thousandths (18.325) acres, more or less, in the Northwest Quarter of Section 17, Township 13 North, Range 1 West. a �GIL" A lit PACE 184 AMENDED SPECIAL ORDINANCE NO. 25-1982 Page 2 SECTION 2. LIMIT -- ----- — ANNEXATION PLAT 1982 'PETITION FOR ANNEXATION The Richmond Board of Sanitary Cmvd ssioners on behalf of the Sanitary District of the City of Richmond, Indiana, hereby petition the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, for the annexation of certain real estate presently situated outside and adjacent to the corporate boundaries of the City of Richmond, Indiana, as follows: (1) The real estate consists of a total of forty-six and four hundred eighty-five thousandths (46.485) acres and is adjacent to the corporate boundaries of the said City of Richmond, Indiana. The description of said real estate and the terms and conditions requested to be applicable to said annexation are all as more fully described in the proposed Annexation Ordinance No. 25-1982 attached hereto and made a part hereof. (2) The petitioners own one hundred percent (100%) of the land sought to be annexed and request the adoption and passage of said Special Ordinance in accordance with the statutes of the State of Indiana, particularly IC 36-4-3-5 et seq. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the said Richmond Board of Sanitary Commissioners have hereunto set their hands and seals this 18th day of June, 1982.
