HomeMy Public PortalAbout041-1982 - Appropriation - AirportAPPROPRIATION ORDINANCE NO. 41-1982 AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE WITHIN THE MUNICIPAL AIRPORT FUND WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the annual budget; NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CWN COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIaMND, WAYNE COUNTY, INDIANA: SECTION 1. That for the expenses of said municipal corporation the following additional sums of money are hereby appropriated. AMOUNT AMOUNT REQUESTED APPROPRIATED MUNICIPAL AIRPORT FUND 2000 - Supplies $75,000.00 $75,000.00 4000 - Capital Outlay 8,710.60 8,710.60 TOTAL $83,710.60 $83,710.60 SECTION 2. That for the expenses of said municipal corporation the following additional sums of money are hereby appropriated and ordered set apart out of the fiord herein named and for the purposes herein specified, subject to the laws governing the same. The additional appropriations as finally made will be referred to the State Board of Tax Commissioners, which Board, upon receipt, will hold a further hearing within fifteen days at the County Auditor's Office of said County, or at such other place as may be designated. At such hearing taxpayers objecting to any of such additional appropriations may be heard. Interested taxpayers may inquire of the County Auditor when and where such hearing will be held. Elstro Williams Henry present: re Hankinson Welch Parker Carter Faust Absent: None The following business was had, to -wit: (OTHER BUSINESS HAD) The Clerk presented proof of publication of Notice to Taxpayers printed in the Richmond Palladium Item, a newspaper of general circulation in he city of Richmond, Indiana, on the dates of Nov. 3 and Nov. I , 198 Said notices stated that a public hearing would be held on the day of November, 1982 , by the Common Council to consider additional appropriations as provided for in Ordinance No. 41--1982 , within the City of Richmond, Indiana. The proof of publication and posting of notices were examined and found to be correct and in order. Councilman Hankinson moved the proof of publication and posting of notices be received and ordered filed, seconded by Councilman Williams , and on voice vote the motion was carried. The Clerk read on second reading Ordinance No. 41-1982 President Mills announced Ordinance No. 41-1982 was on pudic hearing.
