MINUTES
1. ROLL CALL
Vice President Harry Turner called the meeting to order at
9 :00 a.m. at the Rancho San Antonio County Park parking lot.

Members Present: Teena Renshaw, Katherine Duffy-, Edward
Shelley and Harry Turner
Members Absent: Daniel Wendin, Richard Bishop and Nonette Hanko
Personnel Present: Herb Grench, Craig Britton, Jim Boland,
Charlotte MacDonald, Joyce Nicholas, Del Woods, Dennis Danielson,
and Lea Brown
Others Present: Forty-one public officials and guests
11. TOUR OF THE LANDS
With district representatives aboard each bus, five chartered
buses from the Redi-Wheels unit of the San Mateo County Transit
District toured Rancho San Antonio Open Space Preserve
including Deer Hollow Farm and the Duveneck Windmill Pasture
Area; Foothills Open Space Preserve, Monte Bello Open Space
Preserve , Los Trancos Open Space Preserve, Coal Creek Open
Space Preserve , Russian Ridge open Space Preserve, Windy Hill
Open Space Preserve, Skyline Ridge Open Space Preserve, and
the Picchetti Ranch Area of the Monte Bello Open Space Preserve.
III . SPECIAL TALK AT WINDY HILL
A talk by H. Grench and Bob Augsburger of P.O.S.T, was given

at the Windy Hill Open Space Preserve about the award-winning
project.
lV. LUNCH AND DOCENT WALK
Lunch was held at the Frances Brenner Memorial Vista Point at
the Monte Bello Open Space Preserve. A docent walk was led
after lunch by Joyce Nicholas.
V. ADJOURNMENT
The buses returned to Rancho San Antonio County Park parking
lot where the meeting adjourned at 4 : 30 p.m.
