RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ATTENDANCE TO THE NEW JERSEY
STATE LEAGUE OF MUNICIPALITIES CONFERENCE
WHEREAS, the New Jersey State League of Municipalities is holding its 82nd
Annual Conference in Atlantic City from November 18 to November 21, 1997; and
WHEREAS, key officials and personnel have expressed their desire to attend said
conference; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the Borough of Carteret that its key officials
and personnel be as well informed as possible on the methods of conducting the
Borough's affairs in their areas of specialization;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the
members of the Governing Body, Department Heads and one (1) member of each
Board are hereby authorized to attend said conference without any loss of time and
shall be reimbursed up to $100.00 (one hundred dollars) for expenses incurred and up
to $25.00 (twenty-five dollars) for the cost of the registration fee.
Adopted this 6th day of November, 1997
and certified as a true copy of the original
on November 7, 1997.
