LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT I APRIL 28TH, 195^ The Trustees of the District met in the Board Room of the Federal Land Bank, 506 Olive Street at 2:00 P.M. on April 28th, 195^. Trustees present: William C. E. Becker, John M. Bogdanor, Joseph .L. Doran, William W. Martin, J. E. Williams,. Jr. and George C. Willson. Also present: Dr. Victor D. Brannon and Mr. John P. McCammon. Mr. Bogdanor reported for the committee comprised of himself and Mr. Martin for the purpose of endeavoring to secure some financing over the next six raonths period, that the First National Bank had agreed to make a loan to the District in the sum of $50,000.00, subject to approval of its counsel. The necessity for the immediate selection of an Executive Director was brought before the Boaxd. Mr. Becker reported on behalf of the com- mittee. Mr. Becker then nominated Mr. Ernest Paffrath for the position of ' , Executive Director, and Mr. Williams nominated Mr. Harry F. Thomson for the position. A ballot was taken, Mr. Thomson receiving four votes and Mr. Paffrath two votes. The Boaxd was polled and the vote for Mr. Thomson was: Yeas - Bogdanor, Doran, Martin, Williams and Willson. For Mr. Paffrath: Yeas - Becker. Mr. Thomson was declared elected Executive Director. Trustees Becker, Bogdanor, Doran, Martin, Williams, and Willson introduced an Ordinance fixing the salary of the Executive Director. By unanimous consent of the Boaxd, the Qrdinance was read and was unanimously passed. Poll of the Board showed: Becker, aye; Bogdanor, aye; Doran, aye; Martin, aye; Williams, aye; Willson, aye. Six ayes - no nays. Motion was unaniraously carried. There being no further business, -the meeting was adjourned. I I
