A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY PROCLAIMING
SENIOR CITIZENS MONTH
WHEREAS., the City of Temple City's population includes
persons 65 years of age and over; and
WHEREAS, tiese.persons represent a substantial percentage
of the City's total population; and
WHEREAS, the Senior Citizens have made, and are still
making, invaluable contributions t� the community's well -being in
Los Angeles County.;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVE! that the City of Temple
City does proclaim the month of May, 196, as SENIOR CITIZENS
MONTH and`tall to the attention of all its residents the events
beiflg planned to honor these Senior Citizens; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED; tfidt Copies of this resolution
be forwarded to the County of Los Angeles Department of Senior
Citizens Affairs.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of May, 1966.
