On Wednesday, supper and an executive session begin at 6:00. The executive session deals with a pending legal issue (CRS 24-6-402 (3) (a) (II)): Attorney Gerry Dahl will be present. At 7:00, we have the public meeting on the four drainage and paving options. During the regular meeting, we are proposing a couple of action items: an increase in development permit fees and an amended resolution on the Peak View Condo vacation -- we had a typographical error hat we need to correct. Board Member's Choice Upcoming Meetings February II th: Town Board Special Meeting, Town Hall February 18th: Town Board Regular Meeting, Town Hall February 25th: Planning Commission Regular Meeting ýÿ e e TOWN BOARD JAN. 21, 1998 The regular meeting of the Board was called to order by Mayor-Protem Havens at 7:30 I p.m. Board also present were Swatzell, Sanders, and Klancke, Staff present were Reid, I Trotter, Winter, Tucker and Stone. Klancke moved to approve the minutes of the 1/7/98 meeting as written, 2nd Sanders, carried. DISCUSSION ITEMS Reid discussed Muse Drive Special Improvements District for installation of water and roads. Board directed Reid to go forward with this project. OPEN FORUM I I Several members from the Fraser Cemetery Association were present to discuss further I the solution to various issues regarding PA 28 that the Town has a lease purchase agreement. After full discussion the Board will consider how to address the issues after the Town has complete ownership of the property, and get back to the Cemetery Association. DISCUSSION ITEMS Reid discussed the paving project with various options of phasing work\costs. As the complete project is so costly it seems appropriate to phase the project. A Bonding question will need to be to the voters at the April Election. Feb. 4th the community will be encouraged to attend a meeting so that these options can be presented and get input from the community regarding a ballot question. A mailing regarding tbis meeting will be sent to all registered voters. STAFF CHOICE Reid gave a projected time schedule for the Maryvale PDD application and annexation. Jan. 28th at 7:00p.m. is joint PC and Town Board review of the new PDDP application for I Maryvale. Also on the agenda will be discussion on the JonesIPowers proposed annexation. Reid discussed the decision by the State Patrol to move the dispatch to Craig. The County has estimated what the costs might be to keep a dispatch in the County if the County and Town as so inclined, Board discussed that these costs were to high to keep dispatch in County. e e Swatzell will attend the CML meeting on Feb. 5, 1998. Havens discussed a Winter Park Board meeting he attended regarding Hinz development approval. Klancke moved to hold an executive session regarding land negotiations, 2nd Swatzell, carried. 9:30 p.m. No further business, meeting adjourned.
